It will work with any iPod capable stereo providing it supports gen5. The muting has nothing do with the stereo it is simply the way the iPhone handles any iPod media playback when you receive an incoming call, text message, email or any other alert on the device.

 

Do you guys know if the iPhone will work with the first gen iPod jack head unit?

 

can you manuver between artist? I am having an issue that whatever artist i choose is the only one who will play.

so say i pick Postal Service. xb will play the PS cd but I cant back out and choose the Killers without unplugging my iphone.

I have never been successful with my iPhone. I have the Navi HU, and it doesn't recognize the iPhone at all. SOS

 

My iPhone is working great with the Navi HU. Just took delivery of it tonight... maybe it's a newer software version or something?

sorry to veer off subject... but did you know apple dropped the 8gb iPhone price to $399?

For us who bought it before the price drop, we get a stinkin' $100 credit, but its STORE CREDIT! that sux, but I guess its better than nothing. I was steamed when I saw that.
