Hi, i just bought a 2008 Scion Xb RLS 5.0 series.
i love it, the only problem i have with it is the ipod connecter.
I can take my ipod into my friends 08 Tc and the ipod will work right from the Radio, and he can switch songs by clicking on the radio, and it also reads the name of the song, and the album its on. But on mine, i have to disconnect the ipod, choose the song, then plug it back up and listen to it, and it wont show the song or anything on my radio, its kinda annoying. please help me out

 

sounds like a warrenty issue to me, it should work exactly as it does in the TC..

 

yep take it back and have them fix it..

It sounds like you have "direct control" enabled. Check the head unit manual to see how to turn it off.
