Default just ventin = new alpine premium HU

i got my scion oem alpine premium headunit today - off ebay - 201$ delivered, like new - i am happy.. go to install it - and i cant get one of the stupid plugs out of the back of the stock pioneer, as i am struggling with it - i SCRATCHED MY STINKING SHIFTER SURROUND PLATE!!! this is the silver/grey part with the hazard light switch in it.. i knew i shoulda put a rag or something down.. me being in a stupid hurry. :L ( incidently, the radio works great - installed in a cinch - no problems - it has a ton more features then the pioneer - its great - and it is like new - great right? i cant get past the scratched plate - so upset here - i am gonna have to see about a new one?
anyone know the part # for a '11 release series?
it sucks - but i am still a little stoked about the new HU..

Just paint all the grey and silver pieces body color!!! It'll look great and shouldn't cost you more than $100!

No looking into it, just do it.

It'll look so good in there!

i wonder where you can find matching paint if yours is the one in your avatar. Obviously since it will be inside the color wont have the match fully.

Any automotive paint store. They mix the paint per the color code. It's not a big deal. Find a paint shop that's cool with you just dropping the parts off. Then pull all the parts off and scuff with a fine Scotchbrite pad.

That's what I've done with mine. I had all of mine done from Chris (n2htwlz) from Scion Apocalypse. I highly recommend him. Good guy to work with! He's cool with people sending parts in, too!
