i wasn't trying to call bs or be a jerk. just saying you might be mistaken. i think a 150 in an xb is very possible but you'd have to say good bye to the back seats.

Don't know about all that but maybe I'm Dyslexic and it was 136.8 but I don't think so because I won the trophy and the other guy was at 147 so unless their equipment was faulty
I don't know what to say. Just threw out the number they told me. I'm not offended by any means because I don't know whats good and whats not. Maybe if I can find a place to do it I will check it out and see what I hit now because I'm curious at this point.

I've been in his car. it's F'in LOUD!!! I might be bias but I agree with those #s..

I know this isn't an xB but,
I hit 160 in a 1966 Dodge d200 single cab 2wd truck. running a Pioneer Premier HU, Pioneer 700w 2ch amp, and 2 Obcon 12" under the seat.
Thanks for the support Andy when you were in it it wasn't cranked all the way and I didn't have the tunning dic in I used at the show and it was still hella loud huh? But I believe nolimits he would know more then I do for sure. I'm just really curious about what this thing will hit now. Dang I could be famous...

The 168. Nope didnt happen with that set up. I would have to see it in person and willing to put any amount of money on it. Unless it is a full modded, built interior for SPL it is not going to happen.

The 147 is very possible. Actually a pretty good number and breaking 2 windshields. I dont go for that. I had a mazda that I did 14 10's in it and did a 152 with it. Windshield and cab would actually seperate and never break. The 147 is a damn good number though. I give you props on that.
I <3 this guy. I still remember that Mazda... But you already knew that. :D

147 is a very high number. If I had more power I could definitely be there with my 1 15. 150 isn't at all impossible. But I'm trying to stay below my window line.

So no one can pull the BS flag on me:

^^ Thats true but don't know if that will change it that much and at least I'll know where I'm at because I'm confused at this point. Like I said I don't really know if I mixed up the numbers or what but I do remember for sure that the other car hit 147. I took home the trophy that was a year ago and not sure what the numbers were. I wrote down 163.8 after I got home. I guess I'm doubting my memory at this point but have to assume it was better then 147. I will try to find a place to check it for me and post the numbers.

3000D, to be exact. I don't think I'm quite squeezing it's power potential for a couple reasons. 1.) My new alternator puts out 180amps but a whole lot less at idle. 2.) I only have the OEM battery and a single HC1800. 3.) Only one run of 1/0 to the amplifier, no negative runs which I NEED to do. 4.) I haven't used a clamp meter or oscilloscope to tune everything properly.

Plus, my sub is almost dead. I need to recone it. Again.

168 is no physically possible...

I have some one who was into competition and reached 168.3 as his record..
He had 4 12", 16000 watts, 2" thick windows, 2000 lbs of concrete.
Also interior some completely wood with no dash and seats....

You can make a setup that is loud easier, but it will make it sounds like ____ though..

I prefer quality sound instead of the loudness....

Yeah I will try to post this again. If they can keep this fourm working. I tried 3 times and could not post it.
I went back and looked at the club records to check if it was recorded and I guess I'll have to eat crow here. I checked and it said I hit 138.6. I was right thought that the other car hit 147 but he was one of the show sponsors so his didn't count that's way I won. Sorry guys wasn't trying to blow smoke. So 138.6 is stll pretty good for my set-up right?Maybe not the loudest xB but not bad?
