Hi all, I'm wondering if this particular system has an external amplifier powering the speakers? Or is power coming from the factory stereo? The system itself gets surprisingly loud, and minimal distortion at highest volumes. Still lacks in some areas, but I'm use to a heavily modified system in my Focus. I'm asking because i'm contemplating throwing in a Pioneer Premier DEH-P880PRS I had in my old car (3 5V pre-outs with great tuning capabilities, but if there's a factory amp I may run into issues...right?

 

Nope, none of the stock xB radios have an external amp.
