My wife just got an 09 red xb with the avc 900 deck. I am no audiophile yet I am kinda picky and of course without any sound deadener the sound in the car sounded muddled. I figured a decent set of speaker would pick up the hi's and lows and over all sound. So I purchase some real nice 4ohm fosgate components for the front and coax for the rear. I will update the sound deading when im in the mood.

Here is the issue. Last night I installed the passenger front components and fosgate coax in the rear. Fire it up to check sound...sounds way better.

Then I get cracking on the drivers side. Install and check.... NO SOUND FROM ANY SPEAKERS.

Dome lights work, locks work. Turned the headlights on without the key and I only get a slight (barely audible to me) ring. When I first turn the car on I get a small speaker sound...like a pop (like when you checking a speaker).

I am totally embarrassed to even post this. Especially first post...What the hell... how could I screw up something so fnn easy. Im in hot water is I am about to get the stink eye from the evil lynn.... (wife) Help please....

 

Well some good news, looks like the speaker is grounding itself out. Have a new one Tomorrow. the rest work great.
