Nice, does it still fade on and off?
|
yes it does. That is is the electrical system not the bulb. Plus the fade is more prominent because of the type of light.

Looks like a nice easy upgrade. I still have issues with pictures of lights that are washed out with everything else black. Someone needs to make a tutorial on how take pics of lights in and on cars. May have to do some experimentation with that and post them.

I ordered the same light... It looks great I had the blue one installed from oznium.com but I got tired of the blue.

LED's aren't made to fade on and off like that though so if you keep it like that some are going to burn out quicker than they should. I did the same in my Tc and now the LED turns on but after a few seconds it dims out then just turns off when it should be on.

If you are having an issue with your light I would suggest contacting the manufacturer and asking about their warranty policies. |
Remember that the fading/color changing underglow lights come with a controller module. That fade is most cases is actually a pulse width modulation of the light changing over the fade time. It is reducing current to the LED, but it also reduces it's ON time between OFF times. If you have an LED flashlight with different brightness levels try this: wave your hand in the beam. As your brightness decreases. you'll see a strobe effect. The lower the brightness, the more pronounced the strobe effect. LEDs are current driven, not voltage driven.
