My phone has aptX bluetooth, and I am thinking this is the way I want to go to play tunes in my new XB. (If you have not tried it, aptX is MUCH better than standard BT that comes with car.)

It doesn't seem too difficult, just get a BT receiver and plug it into the AUX plug, power line, etc. I have tried it with a Samsung HS3000 BT receiver. Works fine, only problem I have is the volume level is way, way too low. Not a problem on wired input, as my phone is hacked to pump out the volume for my IEMs. This is not a deal killer, can get a little headphone amp and tuck it in there too if need be. But question:

Is there a way to adjust the aux preamp level on the Scion std. Pioneer unit? (2012)

Another question:

Are there instructions anyplace on running power lead to the console where the Aux jack lives -- hide some cords, etc?

I'm sure I can figure it out, but if someone has already invented the wheel...
