Has any one done this and if you have what did you do with the MODE button on the original stearing wheel? Relocation MAYBE ? bu where 2

NoLimitzInd has done it. He used a NRG quick release hub and steering wheel, I'm not sure what he did with the stock buttons though, you could pm him.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure the side curtain airbags don't do anything to keep your face from slamming into that wonderfully hard aluminum racing wheel that will be quick-attached. I'm pretty sure side curtain airbags protect your side... not your front. And I'm almost certain that there are more frontal collisions then side impacts. So don't have a false sense of security there.
