Smile Radio antenna problems for 2008 xB

Hey, anyone,
How do I connect my aftermarket stereo to the OEM radio antenna connector in my 2008 xB? Right now I've got a goofy stick-on-the-windshield type that has awful reception & looks gimpy. Is there some connector available for this that you could turn me onto, please? The aftermarket receiver has the normal old-style plug-in receptacle, so something's gotta give. Thanks

The 08 has a standard style antenna plug so it should just plug in to your radio and you need to hook up the power antenna, or amp turn-on, wire to the power lead for it. If it has been replaced with a newer antenna there is most likely an adapter for it from Metra Electronics.

Thank you. I'm going to break it all down tomorrow and see where the previous installer stashed the antenna lead. must have crammed it into a narrow crack or else I'd have found it by now.

It comes down the passenger side a-pillar from the roof so it has to be on that side of the car.
