Hey yall i am looking to find out how to remove the rear view mirror. I just got my xb tinted in 5% and wanted to get the front window done with a visor but the guy doing the tint did not know how to remove the mirror and did not want to break it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

wow 44 views and nobody knows how to take off the rearview mirror i know there are people that have their front window with a tint visor on here.

 

Go to a different tint shop and/or call a windshield place. They're relatively easy.
As far as I remember, the light grey piece pops off and then there's a screw. I could be wrong, though.

Lol i did search and all i found was for the tc and there was only 4 threads and non of them were specific, But i went to the dealer and they were not much help but i found out you have to pop off the cover and then with a pair of pliers and pinch these two tabs together and then pull up.

 

damn that shop/guy SUCKS!! I had my windshield eyebrow done, and the guy I took it too had no problem with the mirror... took it off, and put it right back on..
