Have any one used this? Here is a link http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=2282
How do you hook it up? Has anyone of you done this?
Love to hear from you.

i have the auto dimming mirror on my tC, but it also has homelink garage door opener.
the only real annoying thing about it is thatit keeps dimming and going back to normal as headlights appear and disapear behind me. i wish i could set it and leave it sometimes.

Nesta, I've installed an aftermarket mirror similar to this in my 10 xb with no problems. It doesn't run on batterys but needs to be hardwired into the electrical system. There's various ways to do it, but I chose to you an "add-a-fuse" and wire the mirror into the fuse box. My mirror's power turns on when the ignition of the car is turned on, along with my hardwired radar detector. I ended up tucking the wires up under the head panel and then when I got to the "A" pillar I tucked behind the top of the plastic and ran the wire down to the fuse box behind the rubber molding of the door. Because our fuses are mini low profile atm, they don't make an add a fuse specific, but a mini atm add a fuse works fine, just can't put the cover on the fuse box. It's really an easy task. There's plenty of links/walk thru's on this site and others on the net that will help with this.
it attaches to a power source in the roof.
no, mine isn't faulty, otherwise i would have replaced it.
what i was saying is that this is how it works, headlights of the car behind you flash in your mirror, the mirror detects them, and dims. what is annoying is that when the car goes away, the mirror goes back to normal, and then when the next set of headlights appear behind you, it dims again. i'm just saying i wish it would stay dimmed longer rather than going off and on through the evening. the auto dimming mirror in my explorer would let you just press and button and it would stay dimmed or could be turned off but it isn't a big deal. what really bothers me at night is headlights in the side view mirrors.

Nesta, here's a few links for you. For some reason I thought there were more links geared towards wiring the mirror, but it seems I spoke too soon. The following links should help put you in the right direction though.
