Hi...has anyone ever made or had made a protective cover for the silver ribbed plastic on the shift console? I will carry my dogs in the car and I am afraid they will put paws below the shift lever moving between the seats and scratch the plastic. Any ideas?? I am afraid a clear plastic adhesive would take the chrome plastic off if you would ever remove it.
