Can soem one help me find a digital shifter. Smart shifter , indy cartor shifter or what ever you call it. I saw it in a mag but no link to a name or web site. Thanks.

Well its obviously more eye candy than anything else. Anyone who drives stick can tell which gear they are in.

I want to get it just for the fact that my friends like watching me shift already, now they can count with my gears thanks to the display lol

It only saves you 15% at the pump. I am not that great at math, but it sure seems like it would take a while to pay for itself.

 

I would get it mainly for looks. I mean sure 15% is not a lot but if it looks cool I think to me 170 is worth it.

i was kidding about the gas mileage thing. a light isnt going to make you change your driving habits, at least it wouldnt for me

 

I think you can make that same statement for just about ANYTHING you want to add to your car or for ANYTHING at all for that matter.... think about it.. All these Scion accesories are marked up at 100% a minimum.... I'm sure it probally oly cost less than 80 bucks to make that shifter know with the digital readout, but it still has to hook into the vehicles electronics.. that all takes R&D from the company that makes it. How about those LED tail lights soon to be released for the 08 xB?? are they worth $325""?? Can youjust make your own.. ?? Sure you can.. are you gonna do it though?.. .Is anything worth what a ratailer will charge you for it...?? you're best bet would be to wait 2 years for it to become cheaper & clones made by others are old... IMHO.. jh

 

For $170 I can get a new intake for my xB...it just doesn't seem balanced is all.

mabey he has priorities just like you.. You want a CAI & he wants the shifter ****?? Who is making the best choice for their money?? I say both of you are.. I dont see him questiong you on your pruchases about it's so called 'worth'.. jeez dude... why cant you just be happy for this guy? He wants a cool blue digital read-out on his ****?? live & let live... I spent my hard earned money on stuff you probally would question too.. so what?? He is asking 'where to find it'..
