Slammin in my Box
Well, finally finished my sounds! I'll let the pics and some captions do the talking...

Resonance Engineering SX 15" D2 Sub
Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D Amplifier (1-ohm stable! Might even do 0.5 ohm... ;))
KnuKonceptz 1/0 gauge wiring, 8 gauge speaker wire, 2 ch RCAs

Ran the power wire through the passenger side firewall grommet, that was a squeeze...

1/0 fits perfectly through the door sills, like it was made for it!

Pop the seats out, unbolt the seatbacks, and installation is a breeze!

Clamping the port in place...

Clamping the top and bottom on...

Everything ready to go

Fits perfectly!

The amp fits perfectly in the space that the seats leave. (They tilt back)
Well, I hope you enjoyed the pics. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Pfffft. Sundown? Who's ever heard of them? I doubt it even makes 100watts... Pffft. Should've went with JL amps. They're powerhouses and they state they make 1000watts, but I think they make moar like 2000...
Sundown, definitely FTW.
Looks good, bro! I know you've been waiting for all your equipment for a while!
What are the box specs? Looks like sub up, port side. Let me know how it performs!

I built the box to about 4.2 cubic feet, give or take a tenth or so... Tuning is about 32Hz, maybe 31.9 or so As you guessed, sub up, port side. It makes my OEM spoiler flop up and down, and the roofs got a fair bit of flex! I'll properly set the gains and hopefully get some vids soon. :]

I have an XXX sub, but it's not RE. IMO, it's > RE.
I forget how long my power wires are, if I remember correctly I have >30 feet of 1/0 in there. The RCAs are 13ft if I remember correctly. I'm on vacation right now, so I can't check.
Apparently from my sig, I have >37 feet of 1/0 in there.
I believe thats with the wiring for my 2nd battery as well.
And I guess I never updated, but my box is 4.2cf @ 29.75Hz.
It was originally 32Hz, but when I made the box slightly shorter, I forgot the resize the port to match. Turns out that the xB's roof flexes like mad.
Due to the really low tuning of the box, combined with the fact that my car resonates at abouat 49Hz, I only hit a 140.7 on the TL at the last sound comp. Not real big numbers, but it pounds out the lows (and the roof).
If I redid the box to ~35Hz or so, it might be quite a bit louder...

And roof is a crazy flex point. I have my full 3000D on my sub right now. :D
I have a vid if you wanna see!
