Default Sub question

I am going to have a JL 500/1 and a 10w7 in a sealed box that will take up the entire trunk and has to be built in such a way that its a box within a box but my question is this. Will I need to amp the speakers because all of the bass?

And if so what would you suggest?

Ummm I probably would suggest amping up the speakers. I had a JL 500/1 hooked to 2 10w6v2 and needed to amp my ish up. Prior to upgrading my speakers all I heard was bass with very low vocals. Also contact me if you want a nice setup. Your not that far away and can meet a Clear Star for your install.

It woudl be a very helpful upgrade. If you want to use the fullpower of your sub (who doesnt) then i would suggest amp the speakers and probably save up to change them out to higher quality and wattage for best results.
