Default Underhood battery, what size?

Might throw a powermaster under there if they make one that fits. The battery doesn't really say, nor the manual... Very helpful...

Their D5100R battery should work well. I recommend that particular one because our battery terminals are reversed in comparisson to the rest of their batteries. If you don't mind making new cables (super easy) that go to the fuse box and alternator (should be done anyway, ;) ) then get to it!!!

I did do the cable from the alt to the battery, but how would I go about making one from the fuse box to the batt? Does it simply bolt into the fuse box?

As far as I recall, it does. I know my Chevy did, but this is a Toyota product. But I do recall checking and it is definitely doable. :D

And if you replace the cables, you could probably run the next size up.

I compared the sizes, and the D2400 should slip right in, if I redo the cables. The D2400 weighs about 20 pounds more then the D5100, so that should definitely pack more punch... Hmmm... D3100 under the seat and D2400 under the hood... could be dangerous! I like dangerous!

The D2400/D3100 combo would be golden.

Have you got an alternator yet? I suggest hitting up Mechman. They make a 250amp large case unit that I want. I have a 180amp unit, but I don't think it makes as much power at idle as the Mechman.
