Dose the upgrade radio change out the speakers as well. It seems like that on their site. I don't understand what you get is it just a head unit alone?

Also, I have a pioneer head unit with the XM radio hook up on my tC. I know that the stock radio needs a different connection to plug into the stock head unit. Now will the upgrade radio have a basic pioneer XM port like the aftermarket pioneer radios or would I still need to buy a Scion plug.

Not sure about the second question, but the answer to the first one is that the upgrade's main claim to fame are the RCA out's in the back for front, rear, and sub.

 

no change in speakers... just upgraded headunit.

they're all gonna use the same toyota plugs...
but yes.. there are rca outputs to wire up an amp.
