How did you run the wiring? I know installing headrest lcds would be easy, but i am wondering how to run the wires.


but i am also having a hard time choosing between 2 7" headrests or a 12" flip down....

I took apart to monitors and desoldered the cables and ran them up one of the tubes on the headrest (had to drill it out on the inside as shown below)



this way the wiring is hidden in the seat

It's what I had on hand, it's getting replaced hopefully with leather soon

So after I got the Video distro amps in, and after installing the ps/2 and after finally getting some time to connect it all. it works. I still need to wire up the wireless transmitter for the headphones and do a little tidying up of the wiring under the back seat.

I've got the Nav acting a source 1 using the car speakers for the audio
PS2 is source 2 ussing the wireless headphones -or- the aux in for the nav

ROOOOOCK!!!! Beautiful man! I have the scion branded rear DVD headrests and i wiiiiish there was an integrated way to output the DVD Video source into the rear DVDs like you have there. Positively smooth lvbitwiz!
