Wow, I bet that thing gets LOUD! I am going to be going with Sundown amps whenever I decide to redo my system.

 

Do it. Seriously. I absolutely love my 3000D. Best amplifier I've ever purchased. www.db-r.com has refurbished sundowns at decent pricing. All the parts are OEM and I think he backs up the refurbs with a full year warranty. Stand up guy for sure.

I picked up an 05 RE XXX motor from a buddy of mine! I'll be switching to a couple of those as soon as I can find another motor and get baskets and recones...

 

Strapping that Sundown to a pair of XXX's is going to be insane!

 

I KNOW!!! It's already pretty ridiculous with the H2's.

And they're sharing only roughly 1500rms...

I may drop the Sundown to .5ohm for a comp I will be attending, just to see what I can do. But I'm reeeeeally iffy...

 

You better pick up some XXX's quick so you can replace those H2's when they go poof lol.

 

But the H2's have a 2000RMS rating. But their max is 2500... :? Kinda weird.

I've thought running a couple DD 9512g's or the 9510g's, but they're soooo expensive.

 

In all honesty those H2's could prob handle it... but it would suck to blow them and not have any bump! I have also thought about some DD subs they are a little on the pricey side but much easier to find then the 05 XXX. But for the time being, I am still happy with my XXX.
