Default wiring help/amp choice

Okay so I'm having a fiberglass box built to house two 12's. I decided I'm going to go with two shiva-x subs. 27mm of xmax just sounds awesome. My question is how do i wire or what ohm load am I going to be running with two dvc 8ohm subs? I've looked at countless wiring calculators online and no one has dvc 8ohm listed. I need to know what load I will be seeing so I can decide what amp to get. Please anyone with good car audio or electrical knowledge chime in. I'm already having the box built to specs on the subs application sheet, but what amp to run is driving me loney. The pmax listed is 600 for each sub. I just need to know my final ohm load to choose the gear Im going to run. Also amp suggestions are more then welcome as I've just been reading up on whats good and bad with no real world experience. Somene point me in the right direction please.

Find an amplifier that will run roughly 1200watts RMS or continuous at a 2ohm load. If you run the entire setup parallel, you will get a 2ohm load. Parallel wiring is all the little +'s and -'s together.

It's hard, I know. :D

Two Sundown SAZ-1500D, strapped to 2 ohms. About 1600 watts. Nothing wrong with headroom!

heck yeah two sundown sad-1500's would be great. I don't think I'm planning to spend 600+ on just the amp. Also I'd need a second battery running that much power wouldn't I? Thanks for the wiring help, I'm sucha noob.

Okay next question. what gauge wire should I be looking at running for this setup? I'd imagine just go 0 gauge right? Any idea of how much wire is needed for the whole install? Would it be smarter for me to order the wires needed from knukonceptz and just head into a shop for install with everything needed or do you think local shops wont be too much a rip off? I'm just looking to get a good install with good components without getting the shaft. Now I just need to figure out what amp to get.

I'd order a full kit from Kicker on eBay. The whole kit is about $100 shipped and all you'll need are some RCA's.

Found it. click here for the link.
