Default xbox in car

I am looking to install a 360 into my car under one of the seats and hook it up to my headunit. I have a pioneer avh-p4000. What all would I need to do this?

I used to have my 360 hooked up to a head unit in a f-150... I had to use a power inverter to get the 12v DC to AC just make sure the inverter you get will cover the sufficient wattage that the 360 draws also the 360 power box gets pretty hot so careful were you place it as well. Then just hook up your RCA's to the back of your head unit plug the 360 to the power inverter and your good to go.... did a little research and the Xbox 360 draws about 160 watts of power so you should be good with 400w inverter that should run you about 20 some dollars... here's on at Wal-mart http://www.walmart.com/ip/Cobra-400-...i_sku=11020914

You might want to consider getting a power inverter that controls energy spikes since the 360 is a large investment. I know that best buy was offering one about 6 months ago for $60 that protected against power surges that may occur. Just a thought...

Well based off that converter it looks like you would need a power source coming from the battery and then a ground. If you have a stereo system. You can get a nice splitter that allows you to take one power cable and have 2+ splits in the power depending. I have one already in my car for both ground and hot. Split it off to the converter and good to go it looks

It should have two options either hook it up with a cigarette lighter adapter it should come with or hook it up direct to your battery and ground it.
