meh, to each their own, i started out with a 4-door ford explorer, and being the swinging single stud that i was and currently am, i really didn't see the need for the extra set of doors. heck, most of the time the seats were set flat cause i was always hauling stuff around.

The new xB2 is actually a great ride if you get a stick....helps with that little bit of extra weight it has over the tC.....lots of room inside and yet it is still quite compact.....

Lots of stuff out there for modding, springs, wheels, tires, body kits, tint, stereo stuff,it can be made fairly easy to look really sweet.......I say if your paid off on the tC and want a few more years on payments on a brand new ride go for it.....8-9000 down is gonna get you a fair interest rate, and if it doesn't walk out to another dealership and see what they will do....

yeah i already got another dealership claiming that they can give me more than 9k..

ill be checking that out friday.

oh and as far as the mods...ill start buying before i even get it!!!

im buying it with two tone black/white leather!! STICK OBVIOUSLYYYY!!

suspension, one 15" sub, interiors, amp, LED swap, my old D3 spoiler, intake, exhaust, rims, grille, custom plate, underbody lights, HIDs, five axis lip kit.

im just debating on the size of the rims, should i go big? 19"s would be the biggest or a gangsta 14", 15" with a stretched tire?

I own a tC, and as a faithful man, I would never touch another car. But consequently, my wife, who despises the second love of my life, hass recently fell in love with the xB2. We test drove one and I personally was impressed. Great throttle response, awesome suspension, and a comfortable interior. I'm 6'2", and I had plenty of room in the back. So if yall know anyone who wants to buy her 99 turbo Beetle, PM me for details. its just semi exciting to win over the spawn of satan to the scion side.

*sighs a sigh of relief

Are you still looking for 18" gold wheels?
Do you really want gold (bright), or is bronze what you meant?
Mesh, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10-spoke?
Polished lip?

those are some sick wheels good choices.

i really like the 4th option, what do you think would be the best offset to run in order to have them sit as flush as possible? (in 18's, on a Hotchkis drop)

thanks again CIONIDE

Just to make sure, you're talking about the Raze R-74 wheels, right. If so, here's a cheaper source:
http://www.victoriatire.com/wheel_RAZE_R-74%20GOLD

The specs are:
18x7.5 +42 offset
18x8.5 +25
18x9.5 +35

Go with the 18x7.5 +42 (18x8.5 +25 will stick out past the front fenders & rub with the Hotchkis drop), and add 15mm spacers to the rear so they match the front.

Those are just tire packages they have available. Personally, I'd just order the wheels from them. If you buy your tires locally and have them installed, then you can have the TPMS sensors swapped onto the new wheels. If you don't care about the sensors (or want to leave them in the steelies as winter tires) then the packages can be nice because everything arrives all mounted and balanced.

I don't know anything about Strata Zeno tires, but you want the 225/40-18 size, NOT 215/35-18.

The light stays on constantly. Some people just cover it with black tape, so they don't see it.

The sensor is mounted on the wheel (inside the tire), next to the valve stem.

The plus side to buying, mounting and balancing tires at a local shop, is that you have somewhere to go if you ever have problems. Shipping tires & wheels back & forth takes time.

Also, don't forget that you will need hubcentric rings, and a full set of lug nuts for the new wheels.

I'm still burning the tread off my OEM tires, but I will be going with 18x7.5 or 18x8 wheels, and I'm on Tanabe NF210 springs.
