I would start complaining to management if you haven't done so already. Document when delivery was first promised, and all the delays.
Also make sure your warranty starts on the day you take delivery, as well as your payments.

they say that the leather company didn't finish it, but they'll be done with it today!
Good thing you mentioned payments and warranty, i wouldn't even have thought that....i've been TOO excited about this.
thanks

WEDNESDAY MORNINGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is getting worse and worse......The only reason why i stuck with them is because they were giving me the most $$ for my tC (given its condition).....i have to have a shop install everything on wednesday, thursday the latest because I'm going to DC and i need the car done!!!!
I'm going to commit a crime if they don't come through on wednesday!!!!

I would be calling or visiting a few managers too. Do you still have your TC to drive or ?? either way I wouldn't just wait and see. Like Curtisc said...you bought the car from them and not the leather company.
I'm truly sorry to hear it 1GreeKtC, but I'm not surprised. I hope this helps.
The warranty and payment dates are based on the date of the signed contract. If you've already signed all the paperwork, then to change the dates would normally require all new paperwork. Do you want to sit through finance again? I know waiting a couple more days was the last thing you wanted, but welcome to life at the dealership (I was a sales & leasing consultant at an Acura dealership for several years myself).
Please be aware that nobody at the dealership wants to make false promises to the clients. Not only is it bad business in general, but the pay plans of most employees in both the sales & finance departments are directly affected by CSI (customer satisfaction/service index)... you know, that phone call survey or satisfaction questionnaire that comes in the mail.
Approach the dealership General Sales Manager from the perspective that you understand they made their commitments based on what they were told by the leather shop, but you are EXTREMELY unhappy and the leather shops delays should not be your issue to deal with. Let them know that you don't care who covers the expense (them or the leather shop), but you would like some accessory free of charge as a gesture of goodwill to reverse your opinion on their ability to meet commitments and satisfy the client. Tell them that if they give you satisfaction in this way, you will give them all 100% marks when you get the survey. If you do this, be reasonable with the accessory you want (something in the $100-$150 range (Rear sway bar? Front strut tie bar? TRD drop in air filter & TRD oil cap?). If they agree, be polite, thankful, and then keep up your end of the bargain by giving them a perfect survey.
If all you are is ticked off at the dealership, or irate, they will know they don't have a chance of saving the CSI, and they won't do anything for you.
