So the adjustor showed up at my mechanic's place without making a phone call and he fed him a bullisht story that he didn't have the key (cause the stock airbox wasn't on there yet).

Apparently once he took off the CAI a ton of water fell out and he says that even more got sucked into the engine and in his opinion it's shot!

The adjustor is looking at it "officially" tomorrow, so let's see what happens.

Sounds like a new engine! No matter who made the CAI, it makes sense to have an air bypass valve. You just never know when this kind of crap could land on you !How come ?
