Looks like the price of those fog lights dropped from $350 to $320...

I plan on doing the sdame thing, buy it bone dry as long as it comes with cruise, and an armrest, I am fine I will upgrade on my own. It will be prewired and holes for add ons will be ther according to an article read earlier. Doesn't make sens to add and finance it and end up with high payment. It's called Ebay and various parts places. No moonroof, very disappointed but I will live. I thing I will go with the MT. We shall see. I am more interested in wheel size, the only thing that is holding me up. I am ready to trade my gen 1 BCP and roll out with the 08. I got two other cars at the house i can use.

I see they are charging for wheel covers?....not that very many people keep the factory ones on, it was still nice to have them for free.

Something is off with this list. I doubt they'd charge for some of this stuff (wheel covers, base head unit)...

Yeah, plus, I was given different prices for some of this stuff by a dealer over PM, and there is a lot of stuff missing. Where is the strut tower bar/shocks/springs/swaybar? Where is the body kit? There is definately something fishy here.

We all know they aren't going to charge fore the base stereo or wheelcovers. Shouldn't that be in the replacement part area?

The navigation head unit is really expensive. A Pioneer AVIC D3 can be had from Crutchfield for $999.

Right on jthistle. Thats what I am planning on. The Crutchfield even inludes a free backup camera, and they have a $70 module that will allow the unit to connect to the stock steering wheel controls (important to me). The free camera is only until the end of the month, so I might have to take a leap of faith and buy it before I buy the xb...I am sure the stock HU will fetch a couple bucks!

The Nav unit is an Alpine. If $2,250 is the correct price, that could be the reason.

Hrm, just had a thought. Maybe these are dealer list price. That would explain the prices on the base head unit and the wheel covers.

I still don't see where the fog lights actually "go" on the car.

No xB shown so far has had fog lights. The things on the 5-Axis xB looked fake, or like part of the bodykit. They were never turned on in any pictures either.

What do the factory fog lights look like??

My understanding is that the 5axis one had the stock fog lights, but they may indeed have been fake/non-operational units. The fog lights will not be availible at launch, so they could have been prototype units. You are right though, if those aren't the stock fog lights, i have no idea where they will go.

DIO isn't much different from PPO pricing.

It's actually not that bad considering other Toyota NAV upgrades, or even the Civic NAV upgrade $3k.

You should subtract $300 from the premium and the nav unit. Here's why: the base unit is standard. By definition that means you don't pay extra for it, and you don't see it as an option. Therefore, logically speaking, you should subtract that $300, since you would be paying the difference between the base and premium or base and navi units.....

Therefore, the price you actually will pay should be $389 for the premium and $1950 for the Navi. That's what I was expecting for the navi, but the premium is a little higher than I was hoping for. I was planning on bringing most of mine in with the premium if it was going to be cheap enough, but at that price, I'll only bring in a few...unless the sound is that much better too.

ScionofPCFL,

Will they allow me to subtract the price of the wheel covers and standard radio if I don't want them?

I will be installing my own HU and wheels shortly after purchase.

No. The base price includes the radio. The radios are installed at port (pre wired with the speakers, and which is the reason why a PIO iPod option only cost $260, but the DIO iPod cost >$700), and every single scion gets some kind of radio. Same with the hubcaps.
