I am having this issue too on my 08. First the driver side rear and now the driver side front. Its interminent so its hard to trouble shoot. If i punch the button of the remote repeatedly it will usually lock but takes multiple attempts. Did you figure out anything?

Do they work fine from the actual lock button on the driver's door? if so then the problem is with the remote system. If it has the problem with both then it most likely is the door locks themselves.

Sometimes, it's a glitch in the control brain.
