3 Month Progress On 08 xB
Just got it a few months ago.
2008 Hypnotic Teal xB
5 Speed Manual
Only dealers options were the Pioneer radio and floor mats.
Stock:
Lowered with Hotchkis lowering springs:
18x8 45offset Black Tenzo Type M with 225/40/18 Nitto Neo Gen's:
I also have a polished AEM CAI installed.
Just ordered the TRD Quick Shifter, TRD Carbon Fiber Shift **** and NST Shifter Bushings.
Thinking about picking up the Weapon R Header & S-pipe next week.
So far I'm very happy with the xB and like what the aftermarket has for it.
I plan to get some HID's, LED Tail Lights, start my stereo system build and looking into a turbo kit.

The 225's are more than enough for the power it has. IMO anything wider would be eye candy especially for a daily driver.

I agree about the 225's, I just think they look better on 7" or 7.5" wheels. I also like the way the slightly larger diameter 235/40's fill out the tire/fender gap a little more. I'm actually planning on running 225/45's on 18x7.5 +48 wheels.
And oh yea, I like eye candy too.

I'll do the header first and wait for a few to get through the bugs on the turbo kits...when a good one comes out. Thats pretty much been the plan on all of my cars that didn't come from the factory with FI. Don't really want to jump into a kit when there are none tested and proven....not to mention the wait time is insane.
