...because I just got my brand new xB. My dad works for Toyota, so I got to lease a brand new 09 and picked it up with 2 miles on it, and it got here on my birthday. Needless to say, best birthday ever. Since it's a lease vehicle, I can't really mod it up. But I did get xm radio and I am putting IS 350 wheels on it (A big thanks to my cubicle part 2 for the idea!).

I've had it for three days and I'm more interested in driving somewhere than where I am going! I try to make make my friends go as far as possible when we meet somewhere so I can enjoy my car and the ride there!

When I put those IS wheels on sometime this week, I will definitely be posting pictures.

I still feel a little sentimental about my 06 xB, it was my first car, and I will miss it. But I must say, I like every single improvement that was done for the revision. I am just amazed and excited to keep on driving it.

Thanks for being such a great community, I learn so much from all of you!

Yeah, I know, but insurance and maintenance are all included, as well as any damage that comes to the car it's only a $300 fee for repairs (In my old xB, an elderly man scraped my entire right side with his left mirror, I needed both doors replaced the damage was so bad). And, when you're ready to buy (which I will be in 3 years) for every 1,000 miles 1% is taken off the used price, up to 30%.

So it is a plus to lease directly from TMS.

Leasing no matter what = SCRWED..
Just think about milleage overun when your lease is up, especially considering all those long drives you want to take.

I have a limit of 90,000 miles. I won't be driving that much.

This is a lease from Toyota Motor Sales, not a dealership.

I completely understand where all of you are coming from, and I agree with you, I would be doing the same if I were older. However, as a young guy in college, it's nice to only need to pay $60 + gas a month, everything else is covered, even everything about the XM radio was free, the accessory and the service. I don't need to worry about outrageous insurance rates, maintenance, loans, and other expenses associated with owning a car. I don't gain anything leasing this car, but I don't lose anything either.
