Default Adding on more reverse lights?

I love my toaster (as my friends call it), but I have a beef (well, two) with Scion's designers: the single reverse light. Good coverage on the driver's side, but needs improvement on the passenger side. Those wide rear pillars don't help either.

Has anyone added a set of lights (fog lights, LEDs, anything) to give some more light around the rear?

Oh, and if the Toyota Matrix has a telescoping steering wheel, why not my Box?

A telescoping wheel would be nice! And for the amount of time its on you could just install a brighter bulb maybe in the backup lamp?

Here's your reverse light solution.
My before & after pics are near the bottom of page 3.

ScionFred's solution worked great for me, but if you need more, then best of luck to you !

Just a thought:

Maybe try finding an xB2 rear bumper with the whole reverse light assembly and all. Then cut it off one side and graft it into the other side of the bumper. I don't know if it'll work, just a thought. I would assume it would, the curves should be the same on both sides of the bumpers.

Ohhhhh.... sweet!!

I hate how dim the stock reverse light is as well. I replaced the bulb with an LED bulb and its a little better, but still really doesn't light up the area behind the car. What makes it worse for me is that I have "limo tint" all around, so at night its almost impossible to see behind me w/out rolling my window down. LoL
