So yesterday I bought a new xB - absolutely love it. However, when I was trying to sleep last night, the alarm went off. After I stopped it, it kept going off every 30 minutes to an hour. I called the dealership & they told me to look at the manual for the Guardian (which it turns out, they didn't give me). They're saying I should turn down the sensitivity following the instructions in the manual... since I don't seem to have it, I was wondering if one of you can help me out, or if you might think the problem might be something else.

I would love to help, but I dont have the alarm option.
I was under the impression that the option alarm doesn't have a shock sensor, only window breakage sensors...

 

It must be an after market alarm, Toyota's option is the RS3200. Take it back to the dealership and have em fix it.

 

most toyotas that i've seen have a shock sensor mounted around the pedal area or above the kick panel... get down and look around for a small black box with a phillips head screw on it for shock sensor adjustment turn it back slightly and test

 

you didn't ask for the manual while you were at the dealership?
