Default Angel Eyes v1 (W/Pics)

Well after reading a few guides from the netty I decided to try to make an Angel Eye. This is the first time I have tried anything of this sort and I must say it came out good. I used those hex shaped curtain rods and of course a Dremel. I won't go into the process unless anyone wants to hear.

I ended up buying some LED's from RadioShack and a few resisters.
1 Blue 1600mcd 3.6v
1 White 1000mcd? 3.6v I have to look but I think thats it
220k Ohm Resister wired in a series

Running off a 9.6v DC power inverter. I made the cuts quick and dirty and the circle isn't perfect but this is just a test. I'm going to order some LEDs from the web. Any suggestions?

I order my LEDs from eBay... They can get expensive.... $30 shipped sometimes, normally they ship from hong kong though.

Yeah but I want to get some real LED's ordered instead of ____ty Shacks. I want to paint them while they are out also.

Got any recommendations on what kinda paint I should use? Also, what size is the chrome housing on the projector? Should I just bake it apart and measure? How much time do I have to work with?

I want to do a ring for the high's too but I'm at a loss on how to shape those.
