I just got new rims, they cost me a pretty penny, I live in a semi decent neighborhood, but have no garage, should I be worried about somebody trying to jack me for my rims? Are these cars a magnet for lowlife thiefs that steels a mans hard work?

Has anyone had the unfortunate luck of having their rims stolen, did you have an alarm/wheel locks?

 

i had to street park mine in the ghettoest place in Long Beach and let's just say it survived...

Make sure you get one of those Lugnuts with a key so it'll add some protection.

 

Wheel locks + Tilt sensor for your alarm. Lots of sirens on a two-way pager alarm.

 

Yeah you deff want the alarm that calls your pocket when you have money into your car... my sister has this super hella loud alarm that lets her know when some one even bumps her car sounds like she has a mini pager in her pocket pretty cool if you ask me tells you where and what side over your vehicle has been touched

Unfortunately I purchased my alarm from the stealership, for way too much $ and it didnt even have the 2 way pager thingy. I hope it's enough. Unless you can add an aftermarket pager to work with the current alarm, but highly doubt it. Plus my wheel came with lock nuts. I'm just gonna try to park it in a safer area, but def. not a sidewalk, that's just asking for it
