anyone regret color choice?
Get black, I test drove a silver one & almost got it because it was the only 5-speed they had. After looking at it I just didn't like it because the color brought out the lines in a bad way IMO.
Dealership traded another one for my first choice NBM and got it the next day. Love it! I get so many compliments on the color.

I like both colors, the silver would be easy to keep clean. but theres notting like a shiney black car. you will see the scratches on the black more. have you look at the HTM hypnotic teal. "very nice" good luck JT

I had to think long and hard about color choice also. I liked white because it emphasized the cool look of the fake front brake air ducts. But I chose Black Sand Pearl and I'm very happy I did. I like it more all the time, and I think if I had made another choice I would have always wished I had gone with the black. Just my opinion, but there you go.
I considered black (because they do look good when they are perfectly clean with absolutely no flaws) but bought silver and I am very happy with it.
As Maytag says it takes a lot to make it look dirty. I get plenty of compliments on mine.
I think I will really like the color in winter. Black would be crazy to keep decent looking with the Wisconsin salt spray all over the sides.

You need to see all the colors on the xB. Although, they try to convey the colors in pictures and in paint sample, until you see it on all that sheet metal, you won't know.
I was at the dealer earlier today for my second test drive of the xB and got to see a HTM and BCM up close for the first time. The metallic nature of the BCM is stunning. Far more elegant than expected. I'm considering an Art Deco theme to my xB and this would be the color for that. The HTM is not metallic but definitely has it own appeal. It's a lot lighter than what the brochure implies. It's got character, although not for me.
Right now, my preference is BCM, BSP, NBM. I guess I just like the xB in dark colors.
Oddly, I find the silver, which seems to be vying for most popular color with white here in the PacNW, to be rather bland. It doesn't pop, nor does it lend any character to the car. But it makes a great canvas. The dealer I'm visiting has a silver xB that they've modded for the their showroom. They painted from the shoulder line up black, with a blue pinstripe for the transition, and it looks great.
I saw the BSP at the autoshow last weekend, and it's great. The pearl is very strong giving the surface a lot of light. It's not an average black. And you know what they say, "Once you go black, you'll never go back."

I had considered doing something like that with mine. I would like to see how theirs turned out.
i think that all the colors look fantastic. the "classics" silver, black, white are a bit more conservative and carry body/wheel changes better.
blue and berry crush are darker and it has a bit of a "pearl" look to it. different light angles give different shades of the colors.
personally i love teal cause of how outrageously different it is. but i find it difficult to find a wheel color/style to match the body.
