Honestly, I'm pretty upset with Scion being so damn secretive. I've been a big Scion fan since the brand was announced, but the fact that they keep the community in the dark is a big turn off for me.

I realize they are trying to make money with their cars but I waited and waited for these cars and after months of getting nothing, I bought a VW. I'm happy with my car but I would have gladly waited longer if there were some initial specs released awhile back.

I'm sure that the gti and rabbit owners would have thought twice about their purchase had there been some info about the new releases before the chicago debut. I still kick myself in the ___ for not buying an xB and I now hate that I have to choose between a paid off car and possibly buying a new scion.

My point is, as much as Scion craves the younger market, they should also realize that the younger market is used to having things now and right now. They are in a heavily competive market and holding back any sort of info only hurts them by denying potential buyers from some sort of comparison with the other cars they compete with.

Rant over.

I can't wait to see the new models and then make the hard choice of buying a new car or sticking with what I've got.

I agree, this was something purposely released, but masked. Almost similar to the release of the Fuse. Angle shots that give you some idea, but not fully.

The whole secretive thing is like when you were a little kid and your parents were like we are going on a drive, but they wouldn't tell you where, just that you would enjoy it. You would get so worked up thinking where it could be and then you get there and you were all like YEY!

Definitely "leaked" photos. Scion should come out with it, but that would not make much marketing sense. It would not create anywhere near the buzz these so-called spy shots will create. Looks nice, though. i may have to get me one of them thar Sky-Ons to replace my current xB. LOL

A lot of companies "leak" photos on purpose to generate a buzz, and I'd bet that's what Toyota has done. I'm going to withold comment until I can see a real good photo of it.

I'm on Autoblog.com everyday waiting for leaked pics. Then yesturday, a series of pics was posted on the site. The first thing I did was put it on SL for all peeps to see. Then it's locked today, which is understandable, but then you post the same exact thing? Whatever, at least everyone will see them now.
