Default Average MPG display

The xb2 owner's manual says that the Average MPG display is automatically reset when the gas tank is refilled (like the Range to empty already does). On my xB2, the Avg MPG does NOT automatically reset when I refill the tank.
-For the new tank of gas, I must remember to manually reset it, or else the display continues to calculate the new tank with the previous tank.

What is your experience with this?

Haha, I do mine manually as well even though I have the auto calculator, it's always off from about 1-2mpg depending (still working on what causes more a fluctuation).

To reset anything, just go on AVG MPG and push and hold the button and it will reset after a few seconds. Same way the Trip A/B and everything else works!

I'm keeping track of my MPG, wanting to make a graph average once I get a nice amount of totals and see how winter has an effect on my mileage. So far my numbers are... (done manually)

#1 - 26.4
#2 - 28.6
#3 - 29.4
#4 - 25.6

Overall MPG thus far - 27.5 MPG

I would guess that I do about 60/40 (highway/city). #4 being more close to 40/60.

My xB is Auto with no performance upgrades.
