when parallel parking, It's hard for me to see the lower cars behind me, through the back window. I'm not trying to the cars, and scratch up my bumper. Being that I live in the city, parallel parking is a must, but I'm just having a hard time judging distance in this new car. Can some one recommend an aftermarket setup? Thanks.

 

depends how much you're willing to spend. Costco carry a back up camera system for under $100

 

Unless you get a back-up camera with a wide angle lens you won't be able to see straight down over your bumper.

Anybody remember these from the '70s?

 

does any know first hand how the wide angle rear lens work?...i might get it. cheap enough, if it doesn't work out, i'm not out a lot

 

You can probably find one to look at, or even buy, at Kragen, AutoZone, Pep Boys, etc. (whatever chain auto parts store is in your area).

yahhh i know but it might be worth it though!!! and i can always find away to use a knife :D
