What's up with this 2008 XB? Do you think the leather is an after market thing?

Ya... likely a dealer option or the first owner added it.

 

Aftermarket! Check-out the pics taken of the back of the backseats. The leather doesn't cover all the way down. Just slightly past the shoulders.

 

Here is my 2008 Scion xB with all black leather, When i got my car in 07 it was the only add on i asked for and wanted. My friend who worked at the dealer sent it out and two days later seats and door incerts were done.











And here is the only pic i can find and i think even have of the Back of the back seats.

Thank you, The pic's were taken the day i got the car back from Toyota, They look amazing now always shiney and smooth and no cracks and im not a light fellow. The old pic's i just took fast cause they still had glue and stuff from the shop.

The ebay car looks nice but hmmmm someing seems off to me. I just moved from NY to Miami at the start of the new year and some of the scion dealers ive seen over here have leather in them and look reali nice!!! but they charge alot more here than i paid in NY!! Down here they wanted $1,500 for just black leather and $2200 for 2-tone, i paid $600.00 and life time warrenty and if i wanted 2-tone would have run me $900.00. But i just wanted it simple and just one color.

 

You only paid $600 for dealer added on leather? That WAS a great deal!

 

Yes sir , i was very serprized on the price. From what i was told since i was the first person to ask about leather for the seconed gen xB the company was willing to strick a deal if i let them use my car for pic's and 2 shows to show case the leather product. Hell that was fine with me and the dealer also thru in the 4 pc masts and trunk mat, OBX racing Peddles and rear Scion Bumper cover all cause i did the shows for the shop and the dealer. Def worked out great for me LOL

 

Man they didn't change the body in 80 years unbelieveable.

 

yeah but in 2088 it has no wheels, it hovers...
