I heard the same on the wrap, it makes things hotter and shorten the life of the header itself. See some of the threads on it. Looks cool but its been proven for every day use not good idea.

Well what Ive read its only a problem when moisture is involved. I only wrapped the runners themselves and from driving in rain and washing my car I havent noticed the slightest bit of moisture reaching those areas so for now I think Im safe. And if something happens to go wrong I can always just walk to work (less than 5 mins away) and end up with a turbo manifold bolted to my head

I think you should keep them white. Having the eyelids match the boby paint makes the headlights look sleeker!

Thanks Guys!

To be honest I'm not exactly sure what badges these are from, I purchased them from a shop in the OC.

I will try to find a picture on the TSUDO. I had adjusted it so that it fits the center of the outlets and slightly pushed in so that its flushed with the Five AD Kit.

I have had the Tsudo exhaust since it came out and i just love it. I wanted to have a lip kit by now but kept hearing the 5 Axis kit rear did not fit. I see more and more members with the Kit and Exhaust is it hard to get it to fit?

Thanks for your time!

Once again xB just look's amazing!!

XD40tC ......Why would you want to wrap your stock manifold? The heat that is being trapped in the pipes will burn and melt the crap out of your catalytic converter. Why not just get a header and wrap that?

Thanks drewsxb808! Fortunatly, I have had the support of my sponsors, which allowed me to move the built forward pretty quickly. I'm actually going to start concentrating more on the enterior of the xb, such as headliner, pillars and refinishing the silver accents with paint.

By the way your xb looks great also! I like how you switched to the 5AD kit. Your the only RS5 I have seen with a different lip kit. Keep it up!

I did it before on my tC and didnt have any problems. I also read in a magazine that catalytic converters work better when hot. Im sure the wrap wont cause enough of a change in temps for my cat to fail. And surely my car isnt running overly rich so Im pretty sure Im ok. Thx for the concern though.
