How did you paint your brake calipers?

 

Scuff them up some and take the brake caliper color you want and paint.

 

Yea... Ive used many different products over the years from "rattle can" to actually laying the paint on with a brush. I used a dupli-color kit from autozone, still looks like new. Heres a link... http://www.duplicolor.com/products/caliperPaint/

TSW Holston, they were discontinued a couple years ago. They came in sizes everywhere from 18x8 up to 22x10.5 and Doughboys running 19x8 +38 with 215-35-19 Nitto NeoGen tires so it tucks when aired out, as you can plainly see.

The only downside is that they weigh a lot more than you want for a wheel that is being accelerated from a dead stop by a 4-banger... can you say "bad mpg?" Not a big deal for a show car, but sucks for a daily driver.

 

Cool, now did you remove the calipers or painted right there?

 

I used the brush on application so I didnt have to remove anything..

 

well, you had to remove the tires...

Honestly, I think it would look 10x better without that body/lip kit and the roof rack.

Still looks nice, just looks a little "fast and furious" for me.
