We moved when I was ~7 and I got my parents to cover my room walls with purple phsycodelic wall paper.

I guess I just liked how your car looked with those wheels in silver but it's not really important what I like when it's your car. I suppose that's why they make so many different wheel styles and colors. To each his own.

BTW, I still think your car looks good. After all, it's the best paint color ever put on a XB2!

I did like them in silver, but since I filled in the universal holes they needed to have color to them and I wanted a change

Black is clean, not 'gawdy' like some colors can be.

Personally, I'm a fan of silver calipers. I'm right now in the process of painting my Eclipse' rear calipers (following rust removal from the previously silver painted rear left and phosphate removal from the "new" rebuilt rear right). Got the idea from the OE xB2 which works great for me with silver (never before even considered the issue ). No doubt black looks good, but I'm just a sucker for a little accent here and there -- in this case silver calipers! Red is just a little too "look at me" oriented, blue is a miss for my SW, and I feel there's already sufficient black.
