check engine light

how do you reset this thing?

Did you fix the problem first? Sometimes it will go away once you fix it, but if it still on, go to your local auto parts start like Autozone and they will reset it with an OB2 scanner.

pull a battery cable for a quick fix, but if you didn't correct the issue that made the light come up, it will come right back.

it was the matn. reqd light i changed the oil... tried resetting it like i used on my gen1 it wouldn't work....

turn key. set odometer to TRIP A
then turn key off then hold reset trip in while turning key on and wait..4 bars on bottom will count down to none and its reset.
