I have a 2008 Black XB and i am really trying to find something to accessorize it. I love the color purple and think its looks great with black so i am hoping to find a purple accessory to add to my interior and/or exterior. Any suggestions?

Have you thought about painting your trim pieces purple? You can paint your a/c vents, the shift console plastic (the silver parts around your center console), arm rests, etc.

If you're not comfortable painting, you can also order dash kits in purple that peel and stick to your trim. They are backed with 3M tape, which is high-grade adhesive.

Or seat covers. Those are always cool.

+1 To to what pyroman131 said

Everything previously mentioned are great suggestions, and probably the easiest way to personalize your car. If you decide to paint your trim pieces, I have had great luck with Krylon Fusion. Also, if you decide to get some seat covers with custom colors, Bean Garage and TRD Sparks are great places to get some ideas.

Good luck with your mods!

Thanks everyone. I will definetely look into painting my trims, i was just nervous about doing something that permanent. I looked into purple rims and could not find any ANYWHERE. I gave up on my search for purple rims and decided to just put black and chrome rims on it a couple weeks ago. But thanks for the advise everyone!

I installed orange neon's under my dash to illuminate the foot wells. I think TRD Sparks sells the kits but I did my own and got the neons on ebay. Purple ones would look pretty killer with black paint. Also you could do purple puddle lights in the doors.

You can change your headliner and the door insert to purple with a fabric change. If you go with purple leds just remember you need to use twice as many to get the same amount of light as some of the other colors. just trust me on this.

if you dont want to do anything permanent, try this. i dont know how it will look but it worth a try for $30.

Remember that for an accent to look good, you need to use it sparingly. Too much and it stops being an accent and sticks out (think: how a teenage girl puts on makeup vs. how a woman puts on makeup).

Or better yet.....

how a Hooker puts on make-up as opposed to a woman!

Balderas78- I have already looked into the kit in purple and i think i am going to order it. I am not sure if i will use every piece that comes with it strictly because i don't want it to look too gaudy. But thanks for the help!
