Default Defect or Doofus?

Let me get this straight.......this guy thinks there is a defect in the Gen 2 xB because every time he smashes it into something it breaks? I guess "Scion should do something about that"

So he hit something that ended up hitting the splash guard... and it fell off? And that's a danger? Sounds pretty normal to me.

Guess what... if I throw something at your window, I bet it breaks. Someone should do something about that.

He probably went to the dealer to replace it and got upset when they said they couldn't b/c it fell at his own fault.

Car's design flaw needs federal attention

• Q:This concerns a 2008 Scion xB that I bought brand new. There's a defect in the design that makes this car dangerous on the road. It's underneath the splash pan, and it's prone to falling off when the car hits a curb or any kind of object. I suspect the clearance is lower than it's supposed to be. Scion should do something about it.

Irving Saltz,

Miami
sorry for the move hax, but this was such a great find i had to let you share it with the whole world.

what a tool.

There are ton's of things wrong with the new xB. All the things listed above plus...

Sometimes I turn on the fan, but the AC starts running by it's own. Scion should do something about that.

If I take a key to the side of my box it scratches. Scion should do something about that.

If I ever get into an accident, i'm going to be surrounded by airbags, they could hurt. Scion should do something about that.

I could go on. But im not a retard.

i agree. that IS a problem.

especially considering gas is around 3 bucks a gallon.

I know, people say that gas is ACTUALLY a fairly inexpensive liquid... you know, like milk and orange juice are more expensive than gas. that's great logic except for the fact that i don't have to buy 20 GALLONS OF ORANGE JUICE EVERY FOUR DAYS.

Haha good point! You also don't have to worry about how much orange juice its going to take to get somewhere, you also don't have to hit your friends up for "orange juice money" when they need a ride, and you don't need extra orange juice for the lawn mower.......yeah I'm with you there, not a good comparison

To quote the venerable Bugs Bunny, "What a marrooooon!"

You know, with a name like "Irrrrrving," it wouldn't be too hard to look this loser up, call him, and explain to him why it's a bad idea to drive cars into solid objects. I would go so far as to say it's our responsibility!! THERE ARE TWO KINDS OF STUPID IN THE WORLD: THOSE THAT DO STUPID THINGS, AND THOSE THAT SEE STUPID THINGS HAPPENING AND DON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT D:

Then again......Miami + xB = he's probably 97 years old. @__@ This dumbass' frame of reference for cars was probably the ones made in 1954. In those days, if you drove into a solid object, IT crumpled instead of your car. The concept of cars dying in accidents instead of the occupants is probably totally new to him. You know, it's only been around for thirty years or so.

in the restroom of a gas station by my house, they have a political cartoon taped to the wall, where a guy is complaining about gas prices, and little arrows show how much all the other liquids in our life cost: like milk, bottled water, etc.

my favorite was the starbucks in his hand - $14.75 a gallon! And I don't know about you, but I consume more of THAT than my xB is EVER going to consume in gas ;)

You'd be surprised. Lots of young folks in the South florida area buy Scions, including xB's.

As for the original guy that sent in the "complaint", can we just have him return the vehicle and let it go to a good home?
