Default dent removal

has anyone seen the videos of people using a heat gun and then compressed air to remove small dents and dings? does this really work? i have a few small dents on my hood that i would like to try this on if its possible without damaging the paint or making the dent worse.

If it's an actual dent and the paint is intact, I recommend PDR ("Paintless Dent Repair"). I've had two and need another -- good luck !
