Default freckles need help

i haven't wash my car for 2 weeks and i got it wash yesterday. after the wash i've notice i got a butt load of tiny little black spots that looks like freckled on the hood, bumper and passenger side mirrors. i've tried to rub it out and it does but takes alot of elbow grease to take everything off so i'm wondering if there is a easier way to get rid of those damn freckles. i was using that turtle ice car wash and i been using it for awhile now noramlly it help clean up the car really good but yesterday was a total failer. any methods and advice is greatly appreciated.
thanx in advance

Clay bar would be the ticket. Get the Meguilar's from Kragen's, about $16. Includes the liquid wax too.

The idea of washing with Dawn soap came from some detailer whiz that suggested Dawn was good for initial washing of the car in order to get rid of built up wax to prep for a nice even surface for a proper detail. Here are some basic steps for a proper detail:

1) Wash with Dawn - removes built up wax
2) Clay car - preps paint to be super clean
3) Polish car with a random orbital like a Portal Cable 7424 (not a cheapie!) - follow this step if your car has swirl marks. If you have a lot of swirls, start with a an aggressive polish for the whole car. Then follow it up again with a mild polish. Make sure to use the correct polishing pads.
4) Apply sealant or wax

The idea is to get the paint's surface as clean as possible, then polishing out all it's imperfections, and finishing the deal with wax or sealant for protection. You should only have to do this 1 or 2 times a year and wash regularly.

Did you put a coat of wax on afterwards?

What he said,
Dawn or any other dish liquid contains a de-greaser, which will remove wax as well as grease. You'll need to re-wax.

i bought the meguiars clay set and a nu finish wax. here is what i did in order

first off i got a bucket of clean water a micro fiber cloth to wipe down the hood that have the most freckles to get rid of any dirt build up.
then mix the water w/dawn soap but i still left it kinda thick still and then wash the car sections at a time.
after the wash i use the meguairs clay bar set to detail the whole car.
then finally finish it up w/nu finish wax and the car is completely ready for a show. the whole process took me a day about 4hrs only working on the outside and the inside still havent been touch yet.

its been a couple of days now and the car still looks great
thanks for all the help

A good coat of wax will make those "freckles" wash away easier next time.
