Okay so im debating on going lower, i can deal with the scraping and drivin slow over most roads. my biggest concern is the gas tank, every time i look under the car i think "what if the gas tank hits something and cracks" then i'd be fu'd. So to some one that might know better than me, is there anything that can be done to either lift the gas tank or protect it? like a full skid plate not sure if that shi-p would work... help me out

Really? I never really took a look. But I guess you answered your own question because a skid plate was the first thing that popped in my head. I don't know any other solution other than to raise the car or to even get a smaller gas tank. I dunno.

it all depends on how low, and how custom you want to go. You could always build a custom 4link for the rear, and run a fuel cell in the trunk.

 

Nah i dnt want to 4link/relocate gas tank. I would like to hear from static drop guys. But i dnt know any who are really low other than neek.

 

If you're that concerned, then the lowest you need to go are DF210s, Sportlines, etc. If you have to accommodate in order to compensate, it's not worth it in my opinion.

No im on ksports. Right now i scrape on most things i still have room to go lower but my concern is the gas tank if i cant figure out anything for the gas tank i will just stay at the hieght im on now. Ill post pics in a sec

Have a skid plate made. Any metal fabrication shop should be able to do it, given the dimensions.

eh i'll try it out either way still got a little bit for my wheels to get in, when its fully lowered, i'll see if a skid plate is necessary or not
