Default Gonna buy a 09 Black XB....anything I should know??

I have a 05 Black Scion XB Auto. My girl drives it.

I'm looking at a Black 09 XB auto for myself.

I was gonna get it pretty loaded. Is there anything about the options I've picked below that I should be concerned about or is not good quality?

I plan on blacking out my XB and putting some 18s on it.

Exterior:

Rear Spoiler:
Fog Light Kit
LED Tail Lights

Interior:

Door Sill Illumination
Scion Security System
Remote Start
Under Dash and Cupholder Lights
Overhead Console
Auto Dimming Mirror

Audio:

OEM Navigation (can't decide if I should get a 3rd party Double Din Deck or use the stock Navigation. I dont think the stock one has bluetooth, which sucks.

Wheels:

I'll get some black'd out 3rd party rims

Performance:

TRD Lowering Springs
TRD Performance Shocks

Don't have basically any of the options you listed, but I have some opinions on some for what its worth.

I personally like the LED tail lights, but I find a lot of people don't. It's a matter of preference. If you're looking for alternatives Ebay had a few.

I haven't used the factory navigation, but if they're anything like other factory ones I've used I'd get a 3rd party navi that has all the features you want, like the bluetooth.

Edit: Forgot to add. I would def think about getting an aftermarket security. Can't go wrong with DEI (Viper/Clifford).

there are the anzo tail lights. they come in red which kinda looks like stock and "smoke" which looks like this..

seeing that youre fully loaded and have a wheel choice i dont think there is anything else to look out for.. as for the scion security and remote start, you might want to get a viper alarm with tilt and glass sensors.. plus it comes with a nifty 2way remote..

also black shows swirl marks very well so take care of it. wash and wax properly to keep that shine

Go for the aftermarket alarm/remote start, toyota's one is overpriced and not that great.

Personally, I like the Toyota/TYC LED tails, the Anzos are the fugly ones to me. The Toyota ones have amber turn signal too.

get all your parts from www.trdsparks.com instead of the dealership.

yes i agree if u know how to do alot of the stuff yourself i would suggest buying EVERYTHING from trdsparks.com, they are cheaper price wise which will help save money for even more future mods.

I say this if you really don't care if you void the warranty on parts and installation. Others wise if you do care then by all means fork out the dough and be warrantied by the dealer. But i'm for all about saving money

The way I shop: I google for what im looking for ( i try and find the exact name for it) and i pretty much go through everywebsite that i find extremely cheaper parts.

like my weapon r short ram air intake I found it at turbo wholesaler for $170 including shipping which is the cheapest ive found when i was looking othe r places i found like 190, 200, even 225 some places.

just have time and patience my friend you'll find what your looking 4

Have to second the black comments-it's hard to keep clean and finicky about marks.

I dig the stock tails-nice to see all red tails again-altezza style is so over...

I heard the stock shocks work as well or better than the TRDs and are safe with the TRD springs-throw that money into a rear sway bar instead.

I have heard the same about the nav and security as what's already been said-get your nav system at a dealer that does free installs over $100 and they will put the stock one in again if you ever sell the car.

Exterior:
everything look good

Interior:
don't get the remote start, it's NOT worth it. As soon as you open the door, the car shuts off and you have to start it yourself again. Any after market remote start system keeps the car on for you until you open the hood or step on the brake pedal.

Audio:
If you want a navigation, go aftermarket. The features of the SNS don't warrant the $2000 price tag.

Hope this helps!

I personally like OEM everything.

If you got every single TRD OEM part, your car would look good.

Imagine.

19" TRD wheels
TRD lowering springs
TRD shocks
TRD sway bars
TRD strut bar
TRD intake
TRD exhaust
5axis kit

etc etc.

If you are going to lower your ride with TRD springs, make sure you upgrade to either the TRD or Tokico shocks. I regret not doing it at the same time and now that my shocks are blown, I'll have to rip everything out again.

if you get the LED tail lights be prepared to take them back.... Seen lots of people with them (including my self) with burnt out LEDs.

I recieved a NEW set of Led tails from trdsparks within 24 hours and shipped in their carton both blown ones. They think there might ba a circuit board issue.

ANd I would use oznium for interior lighting! I think theres is brighter have heard a few copmplaints about scion interior lighting!

Only 10k miles but part of it had to do with the fact that once I put the sway bar on, I really started pushing my ride in the corners. And the roads here in Dallas suck ***** too...
