Default Grillage

Ok, debaged the rear, painting the Scion emblem under wiper at dealership. Installed dual exhaust, pics later. Now the front end, I need a better grill. Suggestions?

Custom, I bought a matching tip from Scion/Toyota and had my local muffler shop do some pipe bending --40 bucks plus the tip from dealer (can't remember the price)

hmmm is the emblem that you can get with those an OEM emblem? or just some stick on stuff? ... also does the side grills mount on top of the stock plastic or in place of them? ...

not to bad for the price (counting in getting powdercoated and such) ... if they come pre shaped and ready to mount in place ... instead of some of them that you have to bend / drill and such to get to fit.

i'm pretty sure the emblem is an OEM emblem.. they paint it whatever color you want and it has the 3m adhesive to stick to the grill. all 4 pieces go in place of the OEM grills. you do drill mounting holes but they are bent to fit directly into the guides for the factory grills. you drill mounting holes and zip tie securely to the factory mounts. the grills do not move a bit once all ties are secure

hmm may have to pick up a set of em ... was considering the grillcrafts .. but it's mesh looks to fine .. prefer a heavier look to it ...

will prob go ahead and order it with the fog light openings .. planning on adding them anyways .. so can do it with this and leave my OEM grill in one peice ...

I don't wanna ____ anyone one off but I don't really like any of them. I can go to Home Depot and get mesh and CUT my grill myself. I am actually looking for something like the bottom grill -- horizontal lines. I like the honeycomb look as well. You can buy that stuff at Home Depot I think.

Thanks for the suggestions ...

Oh and I bit on this one...thanks www.grillsbypaulwall.com

yes you can buy it at home depot ... but less you happen to have a metal break at your shop to bend it ... it won't look all that good being hand bent ... plus getting it powdercoated .. etc etc etc ...

personally, i prefer no grill at all ... just a black opening ... but the radiator on our xb's .. stands out like a sore thumb hah ...

i just wish the upper and lower grill matched .. if they did that, i wouldn't even be considering an aftermarket one less it is a custom cnc cut design.

Haha! There's also billet, but I'm sure you wouldn't be too big of a fan on that. I know I'm not.

I like the GrillCraft set, but it's a little rich for my blood.

I want one that looks like the XB1 grill. Horizontal bars..got to be someone making them, not just glueing bars to the frame?
