A long time ago when I was in High School, my friend's dad had pet chickens in his backyard. He had the same type of mesh wire to fence them in which I didn't realize till later why they called it "chicken wire." I don't know how that grill fits, but I can't help to think of chickens every time I see people with those types of grills.

To me, the upper stock grill looks damn good. IMO, someone should make a similar design with bigger holes for the bottom grill to match.

i few of us have that grill and many tc's have them as well. its a ok product. for sure its expensive especially if you see what you have to do. they recommend that you zip-tie it to the bumper. its weird that you pay so much for something that you need to ziptie

as for tail lights i think we only have 3 options: stock, TYC "led tails", and anzo

I am on the fence about the grille... I like the after market one, but dont like the price. I think i can ake something very similar. I am not too happy with the stock Non-matching grilles.

Also is it a bad idea to paint my radiator... I was thinking painting the visible parts black with maybe "Scion" stenciled in red on the lower part... I am just not sure about the effects of paint on a cooling system component...

The ebay grill is definitely one of the best priced but I read in their feedback that you zip tie the grill on. is this true? I want something a little more permanent that will hold up.

Got my chicken wire from the stealership, and powdercoated in flat black to match the trim around the windows. I don't like these older photos. Need to take some new photos of the black grill.[/img]
yes you ziptie it on.. but they don't move at all if you do it properly.. you can pull hard on mine and they won't shift the slightest bit.. no rattles or anything

Personally I would like to to see some more options as far as tail lights go. How does everyone else feel about the tail light options?

I think that grill is pretty sweet Ill think about getting it.

Options are always nice, but it's not like we have many. I like my TYC's, but I'll probably be tinting them as soon as I scrape up enough $$$.
But it's not like we can clap our hands and options will magically appear.

Nope. Still no more options.

It's pretty much a waiting game. But when you're as impatient as me, it's almost like getting teeth pulled. I waited 7months for Hotchkis to release their springs. I'm glad I did.
